Inspiring Teachers- Who inspires you?

Dee McLellan graduated from the University of Minnesota with aspirations of being an effective teacher. Like many students interested in teaching as a career, Dee was originally inspired by a teacher who taught her in the fifth grade. This teacher showed her the importance of learning through current events like space launches.

Now, Dee serves as an inspirational teacher herself and has been featured in NASA's educational website for inspiring teachers. This Minnesota teacher combined her love of learning and science to teach others. Visit NASA's website to learn more about Dee's experiences with her students in science, teaching, and getting hands on opportunities with NASA's impressive facilities.
